“Developing healthy habits and future entrepreneurs through soccer. The Next Generation.”

About Us

Creates in May of 2018, Soccer to Achieve is an after-school and summer camp program, offered free of charge to students, that helps children to establish healthy lives and to develop critical fundamental entrepreneurship skills with the guidance of trained soccer instructors and business entrepreneurs.

Mission

To fully support youth development in under-served communities with emphasis placed on improving education, career development, character, leadership, health, wellness, life-skills, and nutrition, while learning social entrepreneurship skills through soccer.

Why the program was created?

Despite various health, wellness, and educational initiatives geared toward youth development over the last 10 years, we are still seeing an uptick in child obesity. Add to this issue, a lack of complimentary programs instilled in the day-to-day education that focuses on preparing children for their futures, and we have a continued problem in youth development.

What makes us different?

Soccer to Achieve is a free after-school and summer camp program offered to elementary and middle-school aged students in underserved communities. The difference between us and our competitors is that our program isn’t solely based on combating the pay to play soccer system that has prevented less privileged children from participating in organized soccer, we take our program a step further by partnering with financial institutions to also teach entrepreneurship. We encourage healthy and productive living, and teach our students the meaning of having purpose and supporting causes that affect their communities. Causes we support are diabetes, cardiovascular disease,  obesity, and Sickle Cell Anemia, diseases that are all prevalent in the African-American community and affects hundreds of thousands of us annually.

Our long-term goals and objectives

We believe that children must establish healthy lifestyles and learn to become self-sufficient at a young age. The next step will be to establish Soccer to Achieve as a year around program in under-served elementary and middle schools around the nation. Our long term goal is to reach 4,000 children in 2019 and 30,000 children by 2024 by delivering a top rated solution based health habits and entrepreneurship soccer program for 7-14 year olds. We want children to embrace and uplift their communities.
